Kuweni Serious and The Girl Effect
have teamed up to teach 125 girls from Baba Dogo and Kibera cool tech
skills like blogging, using smartphones and simple robotics.
GENERAL INFORMATION
We need volunteers to help us make the training sessions happen. What skills are needed?
Not much:
1. You know how to use a computer and the Internet.
2. You know how to use a cell phone.
3. You have, or are trying to cultivate, a social conscience.
Pretty easy, right? You can volunteer for as many sessions as you want.
This is Session 08 of 16 in Kibera, scheduled for Saturday, March 26th from
2:30PM - 5:00PM (looking for Baba Dogo instead? Go here). The session will be held at the
Carolina for Kibera Hall in Olympic Estate. Detailed location and
transport information will be supplied by the team. Vacancies are as follows:
8 x Teaching Assistants 1 x Media Documentation
